Everyone knows you are a fighter. Although Vanessa said you aren't getting up to practice at 4am every day or most of the time, it symbolises your mentality. Although teammates blamed you for not passing the ball, it shows your winner mentality.

I know I should let go. But, I still remember Shaq was talking about the joke of "Team" without an "I" and you responded him "there is a ME in there, MF". You are not just an athlete, a business person, a husband and father, you are clever and intelligent enough to handle most of the situations in your life. It all feel like happenning just yesterday.

I know I should let go. But, I still remember hearing the news when I was driving home from work. I couldn't help my tears and got to park sideways to check if that's true or just a bad joke. I gotta tell myself to sleep with it because you will be practising again at 4 am in the gym.

I know I should let go. But, even after ONE year, I still don't believe you are gone. Videos are all around showing your moves, your highlights, your retirement game. It all makes me believe that you are still around somewhere hiding and practice. It makes me believe that one day, you are coming back to the court and says "Mamba's back".

I know I should let go. But, I can't...I just can't. I don't know how I can do it.

Kobe, please take care of Gigi and come back before I know. I am waiting to see Gigi playing in the WNBA and you are coaching the team.
