Grinch - The Cutest Christmas Character

Christmas is approaching! When it comes to such a grand festival, Who make you remind of? The Santa Claus? Who make me remind of is the Grinch, people usually think of him as mean, but I regard him as a lovely and lonely guy, especially when peoples are celebrating together during Christmas. What all he want is someone’s company.

Christmas finally changed Grinch

The Grinch, who a pear-shaped creature with green furry and eyes，living in North of Whoville.  He was so cynical that live in seclusion on a cave of cliff nearby. Residents in the Whoville were so delighted to celebrate Christmas every year. But Grinch hated it. No one had idea why Grinch hate Christmas, and they disliked him because his ill-natured and mean personality, especially his behavior during this holiday.

The Grinch, he got a horrible idea to destroy the atmosphere of Christmas. He dressed up like a Santa Claus and tied the Antlers on the head of his dog Max. He climbed the roof of the house from one to one like a real Santa Claus , stole all the Christmas gifts and threw them at the cliff of Mount Crumpet. However, he found that it could not stop the celebration at all because everyone was singing without any presents in the Whoville, just the same as the atmosphere in this holiday. He was puzzled about it. After thinking a while, he finally knew the true meaning of Christmas. People got happiness in Christmas is not receiving presents, but helping, understanding and blessing each other.

Then，Grinch’s small hearts grew three sizes. He found the strength from his heart，where there had decreased the burden and make him feel comfortable. With a smile on his face, he sent back all the gifts to Whoville. Grinch brought back all the food and feast and carved roast beast. He was participated in the Christmas celebration.

Afterwards, There are two films called “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”(2000) “The Grinch”（2018），they were both based on the fairly tale and talk about the reason why Grinch hate Christmas was related to his childhood，and there was also a key character，a girl called Cindy living in Whoville, who saved Grinch with warmness and kindness, and invited him join in Christmas celebration. She and her families had a great impact on changing Grinch’s personality and help him find the joy with people in Whoville during the holiday.

Referring to the story, we know what Grinch truly hate was loneliness rather than Christmas. He never got the consideration from others because nobody like him, what he need is someone bring him sunshine and make him happy. In fact, he had a gentle and cute personality as the movies described.
