Edited and drawn by Yoshihiro Toshi, serialized since 1998, it is a story about protagonist Gon Freecss, who was rescued by a man in the forest of Whale Island. Gon knew from the man that his father, a hunter, was still alive. Hisoka Morow(ヒソカ＝モロウ)

Hisoka is a hunter and a former member of the Phantom troupe, he is always searching for worthy opponents to fight and spare those who have great potential (Gon and Killua) because he wants them to become strong enough to challenge him. He joined the Phantom troupe because he wanted to fight their boss Chrollo Lucilfer.

Besides, Hisoka contains a very psychotic and manipulative nature. You never know what he's gonna do. He enjoys nothing more than seeing his opponent in pain and suffering which somehow satisfies his sadistic desires.

The charm of Hisoka is not just being handsome and tall, also his “perverted beauty” and his unpredictable decisions. In addition, the character is created using the “Joker” setting. Joker in many anime and movies are created to be dangerous, rebellious, bloody, cruel and evil which also help building a first deep impression of the audience.
