The God of Son — Jesus Christ

Jesus’s Life

The most controversial thing about Jesus is that he has always claimed that he is God, so religious leaders demanded that the Roman government put him to death. In several interrogations, the Roman authorities did not find that Jesus had violated the laws of Rome. Even the Jewish leaders admitted that, in addition to claiming to be God, Jesus obeyed the Jewish law perfectly. However, they still persuaded Pilate, the Roman governor of the Southern Province of Israel, to order Jesus to be executed on the grounds that they were unfavorable to the government.

Jesus was cruelly tortured, and then his hands were hung up and nailed to a horizontal wooden cross. This execution method prevented air from being sucked into the lungs, and he died three hours later. Then, Jesus returned to Jerusalem, the city where he was killed not long ago. Witnesses said he left the earth from there and ascended to heaven.

 

The impact of Jesus in the history

In less than 100 years, people all over Rome (Asia Minor, Europe) followed Jesus. In 325 AD, the faith of following Jesus (Christianity) was established as a legal religion by the Roman Emperor Constantine. In 391 AD, the Roman emperor declared Christianity the state religion of the empire. 500 years later, the temples of the Greek gods in Greece have also been transformed into churches, and they have become gathering places for people who follow Jesus. The original words of Jesus and his life itself still live forever.
